Pietrangelo makes the cut.

After a strong performance during the pre-season (possibly coupled with Johnson's knee injury), the Blues' first round draft pick has been selected to start the season with the Blues. He has nine games before he can be sent back down to the juniors in case he doesn't work out, but I have an odd feeling that he will be up with the big boys for a lot longer than that. After netting five assists in five games, he's shown that he's the offensive minded defenseman that the Blues expected, and needed. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does... he impressed me when I got a chance to see him in person Saturday night.
