Thrashers fans are pretty tired of everyone saying why Kovy's set to leave this year. The people who say that probably haven't looked at the team and circumstances past the end of the year standings. The people who follow the team, well, we can see some pretty special stuff.

My bud Brian over at The Hockey Writers (hi, coworker!) has written an excellent top ten list of reasons that Kovy's butt is staying put. Ben, from the Blueland Blog, got roped into the View from My Seats Southeast preview, and has some pretty good insight from someone who is around the guys a lot.

Sorry, naysayers. I really don't see much doom and gloom in our future this season. Go back to circling around Phoenix.
