I'd do a Thrashers game recap...

... but there's no point. They were flat, they played no defense, and quite frankly, they sucked.

There.

The gentlemen behind me, however, who have been screaming in everyone's ears all season, have not helped the team, contrary to their popular belief. Listen, yelling at Kovy to "wake up" isn't going to make the pain in his foot go away and make him play D better. Screaming at Kozlov to play harder isn't going to make him stop and think "Gosh, those loud guys in section 108... I'm really letting them down... let me score a goal for them!" Calling Enstrom "Twerp" was cute the first dozen times you did it... in the first game. But yeah, we get it. He's little. He's been little for the past three freaking years. Way to catch on.

Yelling at the team to shoot when they're trying to set up a play, then bitching when their shot gets blocked... making smart ass comments about how much the team sucks, how they're playing like they did in 2007-2008... ignorant, unsupportive, fairweather... there are names for this. Yeah, we need butts in the seats in Philips. We don't need yours. Of course, I can't say anything to these jackasses since I'm a STH and so are they, but allow me to say it here in a rare burst of profanity (for this site): shut the fuck up. Please. Learn something about hockey before you start yelling random shit. Shut up and watch the damned game.

LOL. Oh, no, stupid people are everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

Hold on. I need to go find my tinfoil hat. They're following me again.

At least there was SOME sign of life at Philips...

I'm thinking we're gonna have to take a serious look at our attendance problem...Allegedly, the guys at TSN were poking fun at our small crowds again. It's something all Thrasher fans are gonna have to take a serious look at...

That doesn't surprise me. Honestly, though, Saturday night was jammed. Weekend games tend to be fuller... I guess it's because people have free time. The during the week games... I don't know if we need a new start time, need to win the Stanley Cup, or what. People in ATL have a rep for being fair-weather sports fans anyway, so I'm not really 100% sure what the deal is.

At least the fans that are here are loyal... probably to a fault.
