Are we the next Sonics?

ESPN seems to think that we're #6 in line to become it.

I don't take too much stock in an organization that made jokes about re-naming the Sonics the Oklahoma City Bombers.


Can the NHL pressure AS to sell the team? Bettman REALLY doesn't want to move anyone... he approved the establishment of the teams where they are to expand the market. The NBA doesn't have to worry about getting the sport out there like the NHL does. I don't think ANY of the teams are moving. If necessary Bettman can go after AS for violation of terms of contract or something, I suppose, and get an ownership team with some sort of intelligence.

Atlanta's too huge of a market to lose a team, especially when the potential is really, really there.
