Congrats most specifically to Thrashers prospect Angelo Esposito and Blues draft pick Alex Pietrangelo on their win at the World Juniors. I've seen Stanley Cup Champions less excited than all of these kids. Their team was a beast, and they deserved to win.
Also, congrats to future Thrasher (probably) John Tavares for being named top forward in the tournament. Man, watching this thing - it almost... ALMOST makes us want to tank on purpose to get this guy. But we can do it without trying, so whatever.

I really hope not, but my power of positive thought's on the fritz. :)
The Isles have some bright spots on their team... it just sucks that one has the body of a 90 year old woman. If Rick D. can get and stay healthy, they'd have more of a chance. Not that I'm knocking McDonald, because he's been solid.
My thing with Tavares is that I don't think our luck's good enough to have that lotto ball with our logo pop up on it.
