Way to open up the scoring tonight! Yes, the West lost 12-11 in a shootout, but Tkachuk was there for a lot of really good scoring chances, and almost ended the whole thing in the last minute of regulation.

The Post-Dispatch has a write-up on the man that a lot of people (myself included) questioned his being named to the squad. I don't like the insinuation that he might waive his NTC, but the thought of him retiring elsewhere bothers me. He wanted to return to St. Louis after he came back from the Thrashers. I can see him retiring a Blue. We're only 9 points out of a playoff spot. We need him.
