Better than Darren Eliot saying it was all because we need to catch up to Detroit. NEWSFLASH - not everything is about them. Sorry. I like to think that they're not our inspiration. And, of course, there's the awesomeness of the power rankings. THN has us at 8, mostly thanks to our 7-2-1 record in the last 10 games. We are one of the hottest teams in the league, and while not a lock to make the playoffs, would anyone *really* be shocked?
