Yeah, we're awesome. Maybe the hockey gods love us most. Maybe, just maybe, they're cutting us some slack. OR, um, maybe we're playing harder and we have young kids with some sizeable skill. Six of one, half dozen of the other... When did all the good mojo start? Bahston, of course! The team credits the Miracle on MLK Day with their cohesiveness as a team.
The Hockey News just thinks it's all because the Central Division is now the strongest in the league, reasserting it's 1990s dominance. Better than Darren Eliot saying it was all because we need to catch up to Detroit. NEWSFLASH - not everything is about them. Sorry. I like to think that they're not our inspiration. And, of course, there's the awesomeness of the power rankings. THN has us at 8, mostly thanks to our 7-2-1 record in the last 10 games. We are one of the hottest teams in the league, and while not a lock to make the playoffs, would anyone *really* be shocked?
