Sometimes I really, really think...

... the Blues and the Thrashers are the same team. The night after the Blues blow a 3-1 lead to lose in overtime to the Canucks, 4-3, the Thrashers blow a 3-0 lead to lose to the Sabres. There's not really too much to say about their play, other than it was better than usual - and if someone could revert the defensive pairings back to the way they were at the start of the season, that would rock.

Overtime, all there is to say is this:

What a craptastic, weird bounce. Hedberg probably shouldn't've left the net, but at the same time, you have to understand he was assuming that the puck was going to follow the boards back around to him, not fling itself directly onto the stick of Derek Roy. Weirdness aside, I completely consider Moose our 1A, so there.

7 game losing streak... at least we're still tied for 9th, which is indicative of how damn tight the East's standings are.

It's hard to be a fan of the kind of teams we're fans of, isn't it? It'd be so much easier if we were fans of perennial winners, like Detroit.

But then again, we have character, and they have Detroit. We win. :)
