Shanny Back to the Blues?

Apparently the Blues are looking backwards to move forward on their power play and penalty kill. They've notified Brendan Shanahan's agent that they are interested in the UFA if he doesn't resign with the Rangers. Shanny wants to stay put, which is understandable because he's been with the Rangers for a while, but the Rags might be in the Sundin hunt, and since Sundin isn't letting anyone know where he's going - even IF he's going anywhere - he's holding up the whole UFA signing deal for several teams.

Honestly, when will Sundin just come out and say something? I know it's his future and he has every right to make the decision that will impact the rest of his life. But isn't it a bit much to hold up the futures of several other players and teams just so you could mull a decision? This, along with him refusing to waive his NTC at the deadline makes me wonder how much the people who argued the "selfish" route were off...
